HASAN BIN SABBAH
During the Golden Age of Islam, Hasan bin Sabbah emerged as an important historical figure. Originating from 11th-century Persia, his character displayed integrity, fortitude, and steadfast commitment to his principles set by the Islamic faith. Driven by his strong determination for justice after returning from Cairo, where he further his studies in Islamic teachings to become a Da'i. He fought against the oppressors by establishing an order known as the The Creed, to eliminate tyrants that were causing corruption in the land. Aqidah (The Creed) Series will chronicle the intriguing life of Hasan bin Sabbah, a formidable leader who captured Alamut without bloodshed. This legendary triumph of seizing an impenetrable stronghold became the cornerstone of his legacy, solidifying his place as one of the greatest military strategists in history.

Our narrative is enriched by the KNOWLEDGE found in the Sargozasht-e Seyyednā, a biography of Hasan bin Sabbah’s life, long thought to have been destroyed during the Mongolian invasion. This legendary book serves as our primary source material, unlocking the narrative from the protagonist's point of view. This approach provides an authentic storytelling for our viewers, setting our project apart from other historical dramas.

Our television drama offers viewers a peek into the intricate story of Hasan bin Sabbah, with an EYE for detail embedded in our narrative we are able fuse it all together for our audience to learn about the history during that era and be entertained by it. By infusing universal values from the Qur'an into our storytelling, we present stories featuring complex characters and themes such as power struggles, loyalty, honor, and betrayal.

UMAR KHAN
My name is Umar Khan, I’m a storyteller and filmmaker currently developing an Islamic Da’wah project about a historical figure during the Golden Age of Islam. On my first Umrah in 2022, I received a vision, which opened a different chapter in my life. The vision I received made me commit myself to bringing Da’wah to the big screen. With the Grace of Allah, I have been blessed with over a decade of knowledge and experience from working in big studio projects in Hollywood and all over the world. I assembled a team of accomplished professionals from the Hollywood film industry to bring my vision to life. The project we are developing is called Aqidah (The Creed) Series. It is set during the Abbasid Caliphate and is deeply rooted in Islamic history. My intention is to educate and at the same time entertain the audience with a deeper understanding and insight into our beautiful and rich history. Leaving a lasting impact on the world, by showing them Islam.

ACTOR
As one of the lead actors in Catalyst (2022), Umar and the cast won the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles Award for Best Ensemble Cast.
STUNT MAN
Umar's expertise in stunts has garnered international recognition, with projects spanning across Europe, Asia, and the United States. He was also a member of a stunt team that was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture for Captain America: Civil War (2017).
MARTIAL ARTIST
Umar possesses extensive training in Taekwondo, Wushu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Wing Chun, Escrima, Judo, Sambo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Wrestling.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
JON PHILION
Jon Philion is a veteran in the film industry. He has decades of experience in Hollywood and is joining us as the Director of Photography. He has worked as a camera operator and technical supervisor on many projects alongside Hollywood Director, Steven Spielberg.
In our project, we're pioneering an innovative visual experience for our audience, introducing never-before-seen filming techniques for our action sequences. Jon's expertise in implementing new rigging systems is key to realizing Umar's vision, which will define the signature look of The Creed Series.
Jon’s credits include notable projects such as: The Avengers (2012), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), Fast & Furious (2009), The Fabelmans (2022), and Spiderman (2002).

VISUAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR
MARTIN HALL
Martin Hall is a veteran in the Visual Effects (VFX) department, he has been specializing in VFX for several decades, making him one of the most sought after Visual Effects Supervisors in the business today. Martin joins our project as the VFX Supervisor. He has worked alongside Peter Jackson on Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
His role is crucial in enhancing our scenes to achieve a realistic look for our action sequences. We firmly believe that merging practical effects with visual effects will deliver an authentic and realistic experience for our audience, making the scenes more believable and captivating.
Martin’s credits include notable projects such as: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), Armageddon (1998), X-Men (2000), and Beef (2023).
